Maureen Sullivan has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She is also a CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) and a CDE (Certified Diabetic Educator) Most of her nursing career has been spent in emergency rooms and trauma centers, and she learned early on to use humor as a defense against some of the horrors of the ER. Along the way she accumulated a wealth of stories which formed the basis for this book. Some are funny, some are poignant, and some are bizarre, but her Irish wit and "gift of gab" makes them all highly entertaining!

So what does "Never Again" mean? I can assure you that it is not what you think! Maureen has said that if she had it to do all over again that she couldn't imagine doing anything other than nursing. The stories in the book are particularly relevant to anyone who has ever worked in healthcare, and should be mandatory reading for student nurses or anyone thinking of a career in nursing. Be assured though that there is something for everyone in this book. Even if you have never set foot in a hospital, you will still find it to be highly entertaining!

Maureen and her husband reside in Tennessee. Maureen has recently taken a sabbatical from bedside nursing in order to concentrate on writing, speaking, and teaching. She is available for diabetic, stroke, and emergency medicine education, humorous medical lectures, and stand-up comedy. Her comedy is clean, but no topic is off limits!
